I want to analyze the failures of some well known adaptations and by using a case study of the animated series Arcane, identify the possible aspects of successful adaptations. One of my main theses is adaptations should be produced by game companies instead of film/TV companies (like Riot Games commissioned Fortiche to animate Arcane while executive producers are Riot exployees).
